Zacharo; an agrarian village 30 kilometres south of Pyrgos. It is also situated on the Kyparissia Bay, an important area for nests of the turtle, especially near the villages of Kakovatos and Neochori. For this reason Ecogriek is regularly present here.

Near Zacharo is an enormous rock-face or precipice from which in the past sulphurous water poured. Two spaces arose; the larger is known as the cavern of the Anigraic nymphs. Tourist spots because of the hope that an immersion in a sulphur elixir of 30 degrees brings healing, will always exist.
