L assi is a tourist place on the west coast of the island. Close to Argostoli. There are many bays and little beaches. We mention the Kalamia beach, Gradakia beach, Paliostafidabeach, Makris Gialos beach and the Platis Gialos beach.
In the centre of the village you find restaurants, shops and car hire companies. In former times Lassi was an agricultural area, since 1980 tourism has developed here.
This in-and outdoor restaurant is situated a bit further than the modern lighthouse of Aghi Theodori. The restaurant is popular with the Greek and the tourist as well. It is famous for its Kefalonian dishes. For example, the filled fillet of pork with sun-dried tomatoes in a fine wine-sauce. Splendid sunset with view of the Lixouri coastal strip.
Restaurant situated on the Paliostafida beach. This is the oldest restaurant in Lassi. The traditional kitchen is open from 12.00 at noon. Regularly a Greek night. The bar has a large TV screen on which sports competitions of the season can be seen in an air- conditioned room.

Paralos was the name of a ceremonial war ship in the ancient Greece and it was seen as a holy ship. The restaurant is situated at the beginning of the main road from Lassi to Argostoli. The restaurant has a beautiful quiet garden. It has a brick kiln for delicious pizzas, but the traditional Greek dishes are also of an excellent quality.

This restaurant is situated on the main road in Lassi into the direction of the airport. In between the houses you see the sun setting. Good and cheap is the slogan of this restaurant and they realize this. A large choice in breakfast and dinner.
Situated on the road from Argostoli to Lassi; a bit further than the lighthouse and about 150 metres after the Galaxy hotel. The Chinese cook makes real Chinese meals, similar to what you know from home. You can eat inside in the air-conditioned room or outside on the terrace or just take your food away. In the weekend it may be very busy here and it is advisable to book beforehand. You can do this personally or by phone. Every evening open from
7 o'clock.
An Italian and Greek restaurant that is suitable for children, situated on the main road. There is a small children's playground and a TV. The staff of the restaurant is active, friendly and helpful. A lot of choice in pizzas and pastas. The grilled chicken dish is very nice indeed. Relaxed atmosphere and not too expensive.

Pleasant traditional Greek restaurant. The restaurant is well-known with the Greek and with the tourist as well. Wide choice from regional dishes of the island and the other Greek kitchen.

The Makris Gialos beach is a blue flag beach with watersport facilities, deck chairs, sunshades, showers, changing cubicles and a beach bar. You see canoeing people passing rather regularly.
In this pleasant self-service restaurant you can make a choice at leisure. From the higher shady terrace you can watch the beach activities. You can go here in the morning to have a breakfast as well.. The beach bar has a detailed choice of cocktails, soft drinks, kinds of beer and ice.
