K yllini is a village on the west coast of the Peloponnesos. It is made up of four parts: Kyllini port, Kastro Kyllini, Loutra Kyllini and Kato Panagia. The last mentioned has the most inhabitants. From Kyllini port you can take a ferry to Zakynthos and Kefalonia, usually four times a day.
Kastro Kyllini is situated between the woods and the olive orchards on a hill that rises 135 meters above the sea. This hill has the shape of a turtle and should therefore be called Chlemoutsi. Near the castle there is floodlight at night, and singers give a performance, for example Giorgos Dalares (Giorgos Ntalaras).
Loutra Kyllini is a real spa with its thermal baths. The total coastal area of this region is about 11 kilometers with sandy beaches between high rocks.
